First & Vine is a locally owned and operated restaurant that opened in October of 2016. Situated in the oldest remaining house in Airdrie, the house was commissioned in 1905 for the sum of $1000 , and completed over the next few years. Now with a breath of fresh air, quite a bit of elbow grease, many coats of paint, and stripping some things right down to the base building, it has become a fun, new, wine bar and restaurant at the edge of downtown Airdrie.
Our goal is to bring a fun, casual, and approachable restaurant experience to the community, delivering that in a tapas style experience which consists mainly of smaller plates, served uncoursed from the kitchen where the whole table shares a variety of dishes.
We strive to use seasonal, local products wherever possible, supporting our province as much as we can, from ranch-specific beef, Calgary and area brewed beer, to produce from Alberta and the interior of British Columbia. Our wine list is curated in the same way, with many wines being certified organic, or made with organic processes. Most of our wines are also from small independent vineyards who deliver great wines at affordable prices.
